2021 Nissan Altima Power & Handling

There are two terrific engines available for the 2021 Nissan Altima, and they both give you a decent amount of power. Standard on most trims is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that pumps out 188 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels, and the engine pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Four-wheel-drive is an available option on most trims and comes standard on the Platinum. If you’re looking for a little more bang for your buck, the SR offers you a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that kicks out an impressive 236 horsepower and 267 lb-ft of torque. This can be upped to 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque with 93 octane gas. This engine comes exclusively with all-wheel-drive.

2021 Hyundai Sonata Power & Handling

There are three engine options for the 2021 Sonata, and there are some interesting power numbers found on each. Most trims come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive.When you get to the SEL Plus, you get a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder that comes with 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, while the top of the line N Line sees a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Both of these engines come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

2021 Nissan Altima Features & Design

There are five trim levels available for the 2021 Altima, and each one comes with a ton of impressive features. Kicking things off is the base S which comes with a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a rearview camera, push-button start, and an infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher trims mix in more luxury and tech features such as a sportier suspension, transmission paddle shifters, a sportier suspension, transmission paddle shifters, a sunroof, heated front seats, and dual-zone climate control. The Altima’s highest trims are the SL and the Platinum, which comes with more premium features such as a nine-speaker Bose audio system, 19-inch wheels, a 360-degree camera, and ambient cabin lighting. You also get several wonderful safety features, one every trim including front collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, and rear parking sensors.

2021 Hyundai Sonata Features & Design

Five trims are also available for the 2021 Sonata are there are some interesting items found on each. On the base SE, you can find LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The SEL adds to this with keyless entry, push-button start, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a hands-free truck opener. The SEL has a Convenience package that brings in a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless smartphone charging pad, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and rear climate vents. Higher trims add more luxury items such as ambient interior lighting, ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a head-up display, and rear automatic braking. The top-level trim is the N Line which rounds things out with unique 19-inch wheels, sport-tuned steering with suspension, and front seats with additional bolstering.
