What Engine is in the Nissan Titan?

Every Nissan Titan comes equipped with a stout 5.6-liter V8 engine with 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. While rear-wheel drive is the standard, the Titan does have the option of four-wheel drive on each trim level. The Titan also comes with a choice of three different cabs that include a Crew Cab that tows 9,380 pounds, a single cab that tows 9,540 pounds, and an extended cab that tows 9,660 pounds, respectively.

What are some notable features on the Nissan Titan?

The 2019 Nissan Titan comes with five trims that provide you with something new at each level. Starting with the base-level S, you get features like 18-inch steel wheels, cab-mounted LED bed lights, a lockable damped tailgate, a push-button ignition, and remote locking and unlocking. On the inside of the S trim, you get features like cloth upholstery, air conditioning, a vinyl floor, and power windows and locks. The S also gets technological updates such as two USB ports, a six-speaker audio system, and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. One step above the S is the SV, and it includes alloy wheels, chrome exterior trim, and power-adjustable heated mirrors on the outside. The interior provides you with a carpeted floor, cloth and vinyl upholstery, and a driver information display with satellite radio. If you move up a level to the off-road-focused Pro-4X, you will get such off-road specific features such as all-terrain tires, off-road-tuned Bilstein shocks, a lockable rear differential, hill descent control, and skid plates. Also coming standard for the Pro-4X is LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, front bucket seats, and dual-zone climate control. The next level SL takes the Pro-4X’s upgrades and adds 20-inch wheels, running boards, a power-sliding rear window, and an Utili-Track bed rail system with four movable tie-down seats. At the top of the trim levels is the Platinum Reserve which builds on the SL’s features by adding unique wheels, a 360-degree parking camera, upgraded leather upholstery, and chrome and interior wood accents. Several option packages are also available, such as the Platinum Utility package which offers in-bed storage bins and a remote-locking tailgate with bed utility step, and an Off-Road package that offers the off-road options for the Pro-4X and adds a rear-seat entertainment system.

What are some of the safety features?

Different trim levels of the Nissan Titan come with a certain amount of safety features. Staring at the SV trim level, your Titan will come equipped with Nissan’s Trailer Sway Control that allows you to keep a trailer tracking straight when buffeted by crosswinds or while driving on poor-quality roads. If you move up a level to the Pro-4X, the Nissa Titan provides accessible technological safety equipment like blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert. All 2019 Nissan Titans come with Nissan’s Advanced Air Bag System that has a single-stage driver and dual-stage passenger supplemental front airbags with seat belt sensors.
